Friends Author Series
Over the years, we've hosted big name authors like David Baldacci, Adriana Trigiani, Wally Lamb and Jacques Pepin. We often begin with a wine reception. Our author events are always a fun evening!
Literary Competition
The Stamford Literary Competition recognizes the best in student writing. The 2026 competition is open! Submissions are due February 6.
Mini-Golf
Books for Babies
Each baby born at Stamford Hospital receives a board book from the Friends as part of their long-running Books for Babies program, which has become a national model. That’s more than 2,000 babies a year!
