Ferguson Friends Against Racism

In June 2020, the Friends board signed on to join the “Call to Action” issued by the group Stamford Stands Against Racism (SSAR). The Friends formed a board-level committee to assist in dismantling systemic racism in our community -- Ferguson Friends Against Racism (FFAR).  This commitment means that Friends’ programs align with the Ferguson Library’s goals to impact the diverse community that we serve, including the most vulnerable and marginalized. The Friends are committed to taking action to ensure we are an anti -racist, diverse, inclusive and equitable organization; and that our by-laws, policies and practices reflect this.
