Foundation Center Funding Information Network

FIN

The Ferguson Library is part of the Foundation Center’s Funding Information Network. The Funding Information Network is comprised of libraries, community foundations, NGOs, and nonprofit resource centers across the country and around the world. Like Foundation Center’s regional hubs in Atlanta, Cleveland, New York, San Francisco, and Washington, DC, each Funding Information Network partner provides free access to the best and most comprehensive information available on foundation and corporate giving. All locations feature Foundation Center resources and fundraising research guidance and professional staff to assist the community. We also offer workshops and programs for local nonprofits.

Foundation Directory Online provides nine comprehensive databases. In addition to grant makers, companies, grants, and 990s, the new Power Search tool lets you search RFPs, news, jobs, foundation-sponsored publications, and nonprofit literature. The interactive maps and charts show a foundation’s grants geographically—right down to the ZIP code—and by recipient type or primary subject with three levels of detail.

Foundation Grants to Individuals is an online database of nearly 10,000 foundation and public charity programs that fund students, artists, researchers, and other individual grant seekers.

Foundation Center: Maps is an interactive mapping tool that combines the Foundation Center’s rich data on grant makers and their grants with Google maps to tell the story of philanthropy.
