Location Information
The South End Branch serves a diverse community and offers an eclectic, culturally rich collection, including Spanish-language and French/Creole materials, self-help resources, popular reading, and children's books. The branch provides a variety of educational and recreational programs, including parent/child workshops, Homework Café, music and cultural events, and a long-running adult book discussion focused on African and African-American authors.
Southbound on I-95
Take Exit 7 off I-95 South and keep left toward Stamford/Downtown. Turn left onto Atlantic Street, then right onto Washington Boulevard. Continue straight and turn left onto Woodland Avenue. The Lathon Wider Community Center (34 Woodland Avenue) will be on your right.
Northbound on I-95
Take Exit 7 off I-95 North and keep right toward Atlantic Street. Turn right onto Atlantic Street, then right onto Washington Boulevard. Continue straight and turn left onto Woodland Avenue. The Lathon Wider Community Center (34 Woodland Avenue) will be on your right.
Free parking is available in designated areas on-site, though spaces may be limited during peak times. Additional paid parking is available nearby if needed.
