Discover Our Impact: Explore the 2024/2025 Ferguson Library Annual Report

This year’s Annual Report spotlights how Ferguson Library is meeting Stamford where it is—welcoming everyone, expanding access, and building community. Inside, you’ll find new spaces and services like the Create Lab with a donor-funded mobile kitchen, the Charles & Jane Guinta Reading Room, and a continued commitment to intellectual freedom through our Book Sanctuary and Challenged Book Collection.

You’ll also see momentum across the board: a sharp rise in digital borrowing, 1,037 Digital Navigator appointments, thriving Entrepreneur-in-Residence advising, and youth initiatives from 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten to a new teen podcasting club. Beyond the Main Library, the report covers our branches and outreach—Bookmobile weekends in parks and community hubs, the Purple Bus bringing classes to the library, thousands of passports processed for local families, and the South End Branch’s swift relocation to keep services running. It also highlights equity, diversity, and inclusion progress, major grants and record-breaking fundraising (A Novel Affair and the Annual Appeal), and the partners who make it all possible.

Explore how Ferguson Library continues to anchor learning, culture, and connection across Stamford—and, for a fuller picture of our evolution, browse past annual reports in the archive after you read this year’s story.
