Teen Art Contest 2026


The Ferguson Library invites Stamford teens to participate in the 2026 Teen Art Contest, inspired by this year’s Summer Learning Club theme, Plant a Seed, Read. The winner will receive a Michael’s $50 gift certificate. Winning submissions will be displayed on assorted Summer Learning Club materials. 

Contest Requirements 
 
  • Open to Stamford students in grades 6 to 12.
  • Paper entries must include your name, address, phone, email, school and grade on the back.
  • Graphic design/digital entries are also accepted. Specs: minimum 300 dpi, 8.5x11 inches.
  • AI generated material forbidden.

Kids’ Design a Bookmark Contest


The Ferguson Library invites Stamford kids to participate in the 2026 Kids’ Design a Bookmark Contest, inspired by this year’s Summer Learning Club theme, Plant a Seed, Read


Contest Requirements
  • Design your bookmark using ink, paint, colors or markers on a template (2.75 x 8.5 inches) you can get at any branch. 
  • Open to Stamford students in grades K to 6.
  • No digital art accepted.
  • One winner will be chosen from each grade. The winning bookmarks will be printed and distributed at the library.
  • Submit entries to the Youth Services Department at the Main Library, or email mlee@fergusonlibrary.org
  • Paper entries must include name, address, phone, email, school and grade on the back.
  • AI generated material forbidden.
  • One design per student.
