Day Calendar

A free six-week enrichment program of workshops focusing on life skills, mental health workshops and the arts. This program will help participants grow and learn in fun and meaningful ways.

Breakfast will be served.

Ages 12 to 18.

The Friends Book Shop is holding its signature bag sale on the Bedford Street sidewalk outside library. For $15, fill a bag with as many books, media, crafts and games as you can carry.

Newly independent and developing readers will build the skills needed to become lifelong learners. We will focus on vocabulary development, print and phonological awareness and letter knowledge, rounding out the activity with a brief craft.

Play lawn games and get your free Kona Ice while supplies last, and sign up for the Summer Learning Club.

Adults can sign up for the Adult Summer Reading Club, too.

Mark Covello will lead a high-energy class the combines the Hatha and Kundalini styles. 

Dance your way to fitness at this weekly class with instructor Pamela Arenas. No excuses!

Create henna designs, get your face painted, enter raffles, and sign up for the Summer Learning Club.

Practice your reading skills by reading to a trained therapy dog.

Bring a favorite book or pick one from the library before your 15-minute session.

During our very own chapter meeting of the Silent Book Club (SBC), a community of readers and introverts with 300 chapters around the world, we will gather in person to read together in quiet camaraderie.
