American Veteran Screening and Discussion

Screening of a 31-minute compilation of clips from multiple episodes of American Veteran, a four-part series that debuted on PBS. The compilation contains recollections from veterans of varying ages, races and type of military experience. Discussion to follow.

Moderated by Colleen Harkey, Executive Director, Stamford Veterans Park Partnership, Inc.

A Certified Fundraising Professional, Harkey has been in the non-profit sector for more than 13 years, holding leadership positions at Fairfield House, Fellowship of Christians in Universities and Schools (FOCUS), Norwalk Hospital Foundation and CT Regional American Red Cross.

As a volunteer, she has served on the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee of the Association of Fundraising Professionals Fairfield County Chapter; on the board of directors of GetAbout New Canaan; and as board president with P.E.O., a philanthropic education organization for women.
