Eric J. Anahory is a cybersecurity leader and educator committed to safeguarding organizations and mentoring the next generation of talent. As senior vice president of BNY Mellon with 15 years of cyber management expertise, he led enterprise-wide initiatives to bolster operational resilience, optimize incident response, and elevate cybersecurity awareness. Passionate about teaching, he now serves as an adjunct professor at Fairfield University’s School of Engineering, where he designs and delivers graduate level courses in cybersecurity risk management. His hands-on, role-based approach equips students with practical skills and decision-making confidence for real-world challenges.

Anahory also brings his leadership to the athletic field as head coach of Fairfield University women’s rugby team (currently ranked 5th in the nation), instilling teamwork, strategy, and resilience in every player.
