To commemorate Malcolm X's 100 birthday, we will discuss this chronicle of his life from his childhood in the face of racism to his journey through crime, conversion to the Nation of Islam, and eventual embrace of orthodox Islam. The book details his rise as a powerful voice for Black empowerment and his eventual disillusionment with the Nation of Islam.
