Read collections of your choice from Last Stories by William Trevor.

Trevor is regarded as a great contemporary Irish writer of short stories that give us insight into the lives of ordinary, everyday people. Trevor uses lower- to middle-class figures to explore themes of loneliness, disappointment and pain. Scholars have argued that Trevor's fiction is, in essence, queer fiction that challenges the role of the Catholic heteronormative industrial complex.
