A panel discussion about the special challenges the sandwich generation faces raising children while also caring for elderly parents with attention given to the tools needed to manage legal and medical minefields likely to be encountered while juggling care for loved ones.

Panelists include estate attorney Barbara Koteen, Heather Keane of Visiting Angels, and realtor Meredith Scheine.

Barbara S. Koteen is a partner in the Trusts & Estates Practice Group of the Stamford firm, Diserio Martin. She has more than 20 years of experience providing clients with advice on estate planning, estate administration and tax issues. She also represents clients in probate court matters involving estates, trusts, conservatorships and guardianships. She is a member of the Connecticut, New York and Fairfield County Bar Associations.

Heather Keane is a Director at Visiting Angels, where she and her family have provided living assistance to over 1,000 seniors and their families throughout lower Fairfield County over the last ten years.  She serves on the board of River House Adult Day Center as well as the Aging 2.0 Greenwich chapter.

Meredith Scheine is a realtor with Keller Williams Prestige Properties. She guides clients to real estate success backed by her sharp business acumen, deep local connections and educational mindset. She's passionate about Stamford and its people, and she's proud to help others who choose to make their home here.
