The Crisis of Instability in Haiti from 1804 to 2023, a panel discussion covering the Caribbean nation's history of plight. Is it possible to come up with a liberating consensual political strategy to face the existential threats Haiti faces?

Haiti is a land where the heroism of the independence did not lead to the happiness and stability of a nation-state. After 13 years of a destructive war, the imposition of a debt by France, power struggles of different European nations, civil wars and occupations have nearly annihilated Haiti’s resources. Incessant plots to further isolate the country from its neighbors have driven the country into chaos: an endemic crisis of social political and economic instability.

La dette de l’indépendance, les réclamations des puissances étrangères, les guerres intestines ,les coups d’état ,les révoltes incessantes, les invasions ,les occupations partielles et les complots du monde international ont fini par acculer Haïti à une décomposition de l’état afin de  permettre l’émergence du règne des gangsters .Peut-on encore penser ou même rêver à une démarche consensuelle libératrice devant cette menace existentielle ?
