Event Details

Improv, or improvisation acting, is live theater where actors work together to create stories on the spot. This class is for adults who wish to improve their skills in acting, speaking, quick-thinking, collaboration, and are searching for a fun and funny activity. Bring your imagination and be ready to actively participate.

Beginners and experienced performers are all welcome.

Kate Greenberg (she/her) is an entertainment professional, educator and lifelong resident of Stamford. She is a certified teacher for theater and elementary education with a Master's degree in elementary education from Sacred Heart University and a Bachelor of Science degree in elementary education and theater from Skidmore College. She taught in Stamford schools for four years and currently works at an art school in Westport. She has worked in the theater and film industry since 2015 with a focus on developing new scripts and screenplays, assistant directing short films, directing audio dramas, casting, and teaching acting classes for all ages in person and online. She tells her own stories as producer and performer on Don't Kill My Character, which specializes in live streaming tabletop roleplaying games. You can also find her as a special guest leading events for cosplayers at pop culture and gaming conventions and performing as princesses, fairies, and super heroes at special events.
