Downtown Stamford–a place of constant architectural churn and jarring contrast—is also a historic district hiding in plain sight. Join preservationist Wes Haynes for a one-hour walking tour of historic landmarks in the city that works.
Meet in front of the Main Library at 1 p.m. Please bring water and wear comfortable walking shoes.

Wes Haynes is a preservation planner and architectural historian with more than four decades of experience in the field of historic preservation. He is currently the executive director of the Merritt Parkway Conservancy, a non-profit organization committed to the preservation and revitalization of the beauty of Connecticut’s largest historic district.
