Event Details

Meet Harris L. Kligman, a former Army intelligence officer who will discuss his novel, A Woman to Die For, the latest in a collection of thrillers by the North Stamford resident.

A Woman to Die For is the story of Jenna Ellis, a programmer who accepts a position with an organization that specializes in the creation of humanoids. After a chance encounter at a party, Jenna soon becomes entangled in a world of intrigue, espionage and imminent danger, where the stakes threaten not only her career but her very existence.

Kligman will also talk about his storied military career, his writing process and how he draws inspiration from his experiences with the Army to craft the action and the characters that fuel his military thrillers.

Kligman, the author of 12 additional novels, including The Shaolin Covenant, Requiem for a Soldier and The Profession, also wrote four picture books for children, The Day the Night Did Not Come and Jason and His Friends, among other titles.

A book sale and signing of books from Kligman's catalog will be available for sale after the presentation.
