Meet Michael Carlon, who will discuss his latest novel, The Waiting Room, an intimate journey in how writing about grief became a path to healing and connection that draws deeply from personal experience. Inspired by the loss of his brother and mother within a span of 13 months, this work explores the complexities of grief, the bonds of family, and the mysteries of what may lie beyond our final breath. With raw emotion and lyrical insight, The Waiting Room invites readers to sit with sorrow, love, and the questions that remain.

Michael Carlon lives in Stamford with his wife Nicole and their college-aged triplets Grace, Patrick, and Maggie. His hobbies include running, creative writing and performing stand-up comedy. He also hosts the podcast Uncorking a Story.
