Purpose of Meeting
International Mother Language Day honors the beauty and diversity of languages worldwide, promoting cultural and linguistic heritage. It is to commemorate the anniversary of the day when the Bengalis of Bangladesh fought for the recognition of their Bengali language. The event will feature cultural performances.
Book Donation by Korok Cultural Association
In celebration of International Mother Language Day, Korok Cultural Association is proud to donate 100 carefully selected Bengali books by renowned Bengali authors to Ferguson Library. The collection features works from 18 highly acclaimed authors, whose writings are widely cherished and embraced by Bengali readers across the globe.
