Screening of the 2018 film BlacKkKlansman, part of the Avon on Tour: Movies That Build Community program of film screenings at the Ferguson Library while the Avon undergoes renovations.

In BlacKkKlansman, a Black detective sets out to infiltrate the Colorado chapter of the Ku Klux Klan with the help of his white Jewish colleague. Set during the 1970s, they risk their lives to obtain insider information on the violent organization. Directed by Spike Lee, the movie stars John David Washington, Adam Driver, Laura Harrier, Topher Grace and Jasper Pääkkönen.
