Screening of the 1995 drama, Leaving Las Vegas, part of the Avon on Tour: Movies That Build Community program of film screenings at the Ferguson Library while the Avon undergoes renovations.

In Leaving Las Vegas, a down-and-out alcoholic screenwriter decides to commit suicide by going on a final bender in Sin City. During his self-destructive final days, he falls in love with a prostitute. Rated R.

The film stars Nicolas Cage, Elisabeth Shue, Julian Sands, Richard Lewis and Valeria Golino.
