Spend an evening with nationally syndicated humorist and author Jerry Zezima, a Stamford native who will discuss his new book, The More the Merrier: Laughing at Life When Everyone Thinks You’re Over the Hill.

It’s a warm and witty look at finding humor and positivity in aging and in life itself. Filled with hilarious and absolutely true stories, The More the Merrier proves you can grow old and still be young at heart, and that laughter is, indeed, the best medicine.

Jerry Zezima writes a weekly humor column for Tribune News Service, which distributes it to 600 newspapers nationwide and abroad, including his hometown paper, the Stamford Advocate. If you have ever wondered why the newspaper industry is in trouble, it would be because of him.

Zezima is the author of eight books, all of which are crimes against literature. They also come in handy for propping up wobbly table legs. And if you suffer from insomnia, you might even want to read them.

He has one wife, two daughters, five grandchildren and many creditors. He has no interesting hobbies.
