Event Details

Laura Parisi, President of the Italian-American Historical Society of Connecticut, will deliver a presentation on the history of the Carnevale di Venezia (Carnival of Venice), a famous annual festival that is known for its parade and elaborate masks and costumes. 

Registration appreciated.

Laura Parisi is also the Vice President of the North Haven Camera Club. The Historical Society archives are located at the Ethnic Heritage Center (EHC) of Southern Connecticut State University. The EHC is the umbrella organization for five societies. The Italian, Irish, Jewish, African and Ukrainian organizations share the EHC and work together and independently to preserve the various cultures.
