Friends Book Shop Events Coming Soon

The Friends Book Shops will host several special events so that you can find great deals for the whole family while supporting the many programs offered at the Ferguson Library.

The monthly Book Donation day returns Saturday, September 2 from 12 to 3 p.m. at the Harry Bennett Branch Book Shop, where you can stock up on books and media after dropping off your gently used books. Donation days will continue through the fall on the first Saturday of each month.

The Book Shop will participate at the Arts & Crafts on Bedford festival Saturday, September 9 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. with an outdoor sale of arts, crafts, gardening and children's books. The popular fall Bag Sale also returns Saturday, October 28 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday, October 29 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Harry Bennett Branch. For $15, you can fill a bag with as much as you can carry.
