Free Virtual Legal Advice

The Connecticut Bar Association (CBA) and Statewide Legal Services of CT are offering individuals free, 30-minute virtual consultations with a Connecticut attorney to obtain legal advice in a variety of legal areas, including bankruptcy, family law, fraudulent business or debt collection, immigration law, unemployment or employee rights, and more. The consultations will be held Tuesday, April 25, and Wednesday, April 26 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Before the appointment, registrants will receive a call from a CBA volunteers to learn more about the legal pending question to better match them with the appropriate legal expert.

Volunteer lawyers will provide brief legal advice during the appointment. They will not offer representation, file documents in court or go to court with the registrant.
