Free Admission for Kids at State Museums

This summer, Connecticut children ages 18 and younger can visit participating museums for free with an accompanying adult who is also a resident thanks to the Connecticut Summer at the Museum program. For more information about participating museums, restrictions, exclusions and block-out dates, visit here. The program, geared for families, not camp or youth groups, is available through September 15.

Participants may be asked to show proof of residency.

Connecticut Summer at the Museum is made possible by COVID-19 recovery funding Connecticut received from the American Rescue Plan Act. The program is administered by the Connecticut Department of Economic and Community Development’s Office of the Arts in partnership with Connecticut Humanities.
