Celebrate Pride Month with Frankie M. Cyanide

In the Ferguson Library's latest podcast episode, Selina Policar, also known as Frankie M. Cyanide, the busiest drag king in Connecticut, tells her story, shares some thoughts and describes ongoing events marking Pride Month. Policar currently serves on the board of Stamford Pride.

Upcoming events include a Drag Brunch at Mexicue, the opening of Disaster! The Musical at Curtain Call, The opening reception for the art exhibit Art in the Community at the Ferguson Library and a reading by Erin Kate Ryan, author of Quantum Girl Theory, also at the library.

When not rocking local punk drag shows, Policar advocates for LGBTQ rights. She has served on the Stamford Board of Representatives and worked at King School.
