The Ferguson Library is now offering a new selection of services for writers and readers through BiblioBoard Library. This suite of resources encourages local writers and readers to create, share and discover unique digital content.

Among these services is the Pressbooks Public self-publishing tool, which allows library users to create professional-quality print-ready and e-book files with ease. Pressbooks is available to all Ferguson Library users with unlimited access and requires no previous design or tech knowledge.

The Indie Author Project invites local authors and writers to share their e-books with participating libraries in Connecticut through the Indie Connecticut Collection with the potential for inclusion in royalty-paying Indie Author Project Select collections available at libraries across the U.S. and Canada.

The BiblioBoard Library mobile and web platform provides access to these local e-book collections, a historical database and more. Ferguson Library users can access BiblioBoard Library on their preferred browser, tablet or mobile device with no login or library card number required. All content on BiblioBoard Library is also available with no holds, waits or checkouts, making it perfect for classroom use, book clubs and community reads.
