Association for Library Service to Children
One of the youth division's of the American Library Association. Information can be found about reading and programs of special interest to children and parents, including lis ts of award-winning and notable books, recordings, video tapes and software for children. CBC (Children's Book Council)
The Children's Book Council is the non-profit organization of children's book publishers that sponsors National Book Week each November. The site contains a wealth of informat ion about children's literature and book publishing.

Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators
A professional organization for both new and experienced writers and illustrators.

Young Adult Library Services Association (YALSA)
