Especially for Children and Their Parents - This American Library Association site has lots of links to information about Internet safety, ALA web sites for parents and kids, and other educational sites.

Intellihealth: Children's Health - Written for the general public, this site contains lots of information on all aspects of children's physical and mental health. The information is reviewed by leading medical experts.

Infoline- A single source for information about community services, referrals to human services, and crisis intervention.

KidsHealth - With separate sections for parents, kids and teens, this site contains lots of information on infections, behavior and emotions, food and fitness and general health.

Medline Plus Child and Teen Health Topics - Medline is a service of the national Library of Medicine.  Use it to find extensive information on many health-related topics, including asthma, ear infections, development disabilities, and more.

NNCC - National Network For Child Care - From Iowa State's Cooperative Extension System, this site shares the knowledge of experts from many universities about childcare and children. It contains over 1000 publications, resources, a listserv, and access to experts in the field.

The Super Sitter - Prepared by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, this article contains lots of important information every babysitter should know.

Toy Safety - This site, from the National Association of State Public Interest Research Groups (PIRG's) contains a report on toy safety, a list of hazardous toys and consumer tips for toy buyers.

TV Parental Guidelines - Calling itself the site on the World Wide Web for parents interested in television for their children, this is the place to learn all about parental guidelines and responsibility for children's television viewing.
