developmental stages from birth to age five, and introduces activities
parents can do with their children at each stage to help prepare them
for kindergarten.

homeschools, is a great starting point for the homeschooler. Use the

groups, web pages and general education and parenting resources.
National Parent Information Network
- This site was developed by the child and parent education
specialists at ERIC (Educational Resources Information Center). It
offers a magazine, question and answer service, and parent resources.
National PTA-
Parent Involvement - The National PTA
provides information and opportunities that can help you help your
children succeed in school.
Parents and
Children Together Online - This online magazine is a project of
The Family Literacy Center. It's goal is to foster family literacy by
providing an opportunity for children and parents to read together.
RIF -
This national literacy
organization offers tips and resources to help you turn your child of
any age into a reader. They also have a Spanish/English site for
families.
