Connecticut General Statutes - Contains codification by subject matter of the permanent laws of Connecticut. Statues can be searched by individual title, chapter, or section and are available in full text format from 1996 to the present. Special and Public Acts are accessible from 1988 forward Connecticut Secretary of the State.

Official Court Forms - Provides official criminal and civil court forms, including family, housing, supreme/appellate, and victim services. Forms are published in PDF format and can be filled online. Supreme Court and Appellate Court Advanced Released decisions are accessible prior to publication in the Connecticut Law Journal. Full text archived opinions and memorandum decisions begin with the year 2000.

Federal Legal Resources

United States Supreme Court. - Provides information on the substantive and procedural business before the court including legal opinions from the 2002 term to slip opinions of the current term, orders denying a petition for certiorari, calendar of oral arguments, and applications for emergency action on a specific case.

United States Code - Contains codification by subject matter of the permanent laws of the United States. Like the CFR, the USC is divided into 50 titles of broad subject areas. Documents are available only as ASCII text files from 1994 to 2000 plus supplements.

Federal Register - Contains Federal agencies’ rules, proposed rules, notices of Federal agencies and organizations executive orders and various other presidential documents from the year 2000 forward. Hypertext links are available to web sites cited in the FR document.

Code of Federal Register - Published once each calendar year, the CFR is divided into 50 titles representing broad subject areas, containing the codification of permanent rules ordered by Federal executive departments and agencies earlier published in the Federal Register. Documents from 1996 forward available online. The List of CFR Sections Affected is also available.

New York Department of State. Division of Corporations - Search NY business and not for profit corporations, including limited partnerships, limited liability companies, and miscellaneous businesses by name or key word.

Cornell Legal Information Institute - Offers topical and key word search engine for the U.S. Code, United States Supreme Court and individual state and district court decisions from 1990 to the present. Selected historic decisions are also available.

FindLaw for Legal Professionals - Latest legal news, case law, and analytical articles relevant to your research area. FindLaw's online resource also allows you to search a case, research an attorney and find legal forms.

LII (Legal Information Institute at Cornell University School of Law) - features information on adoption within the fifty states and Puerto Rico, including links to state and federal statutes, as well as links to other sources of adoption information.

Health Law:

The American Bar Association Health Law Section - Provides links to a variety of topics including state health statutes, federal agencies, attorney search, and periodicals.
