U.S. District Court - District of Connecticut

Federal Legal Resources
United States Supreme Court. - Provides
information on the substantive and procedural
business before the court including legal
opinions from the 2002 term to slip opinions of
the current term, orders denying a petition for
certiorari, calendar of oral arguments, and
applications for emergency action on a specific
case.
United States Code - Contains codification
by subject matter of the permanent laws of the
United States. Like the CFR, the USC is divided
into 50 titles of broad subject areas. Documents
are available only as ASCII text files from 1994
to 2000 plus supplements.
Federal Register - Contains Federal
agencies’ rules, proposed rules, notices of
Federal agencies and organizations executive
orders and various other presidential documents
from the year 2000 forward. Hypertext links are
available to web sites cited in the FR document.
Code of Federal Register - Published once
each calendar year, the CFR is divided into 50
titles representing broad subject areas,
containing the codification of permanent rules
ordered by Federal executive departments and
agencies earlier published in the Federal
Register. Documents from 1996 forward available
online. The List of CFR Sections Affected is
also available.
