Abilis
Through the Youth Division, ARC offers many services to Stamford children with disabilities, including a camp placement program, birth to three services and the Greenwich Autism Program (GAP).
ARI
ARI is a Stamford-based community agency which provides vocational, recreational and residential services to people with disabilities.
Child Guidance Center of Southern Connecticut, Inc.
The Child Guidance Center provides mental health services to children and teens from Stamford, Darien, New Canaan and Greenwich.
The Connecticut Association for Children and Adults with Learning Disabilities (CACLD)
A regional organization that provides information and support to individuals with LD and attention deficit disorders, their families and the professionals who work with them. Located in Norwalk, CT.
Disability Resource Center of Fairfield County, Inc.
One of five independent living centers in Connecticut. Focuses on advocacy and helping people with disabilities identify and find items that can help them live more independently.
Fairfield Special Parent An online resource for parents that includes articles, lists of professionals, support groups and organizations; local events and more.
Special Education Network of New Canaan (SPED*NET)
The mission of SPED*NET is to educate the public on issues related to disabilities and special education. Look at “Upcoming Events” for a comprehensive listing of conferences, meetings and other events in the area.
Stamford Coalition of Parents of Exceptional Students, Inc. (SCOPES)
SCOPES is a parent-to-parent support and advocacy network that meets monthly at the Stamford Government Center.

A local group that supports people with autism in Stamford and their families, hosts events and links to other useful autism-related sites.
