Services for Educators
The Ferguson's Youth Services Department is committed to supporting local educators with a variety of resources and services.

Visit the Library on the Purple Bus
The Ferguson Library's Purple Bus transports school classes to the library.

Assignment Alert
We'll set aside materials for assignments if you give us a heads up. Submit an Assignment Alert form.

Learning Kits To Go
A collection of books and materials on your favorite topics all in one handy tote bag or box. Learning kits are available at the Main Library to anyone with a library card.

Outreach Visits

If you are unable to visit the library, a professional Youth Services staff member can visit your school for a half-hour program of stories using puppets, flannel boards, and more. Ferguson
librarians can also provide parent and teacher workshops on topics such
as choosing excellent picture books, the importance of family reading,
and techniques for reading aloud. To book any of these special services, call
