The Ferguson Library's Local Historical and Genealogical collection consists of books, manuscripts, periodicals, maps and city directories.

During the Main Library renovation this collection, most of which was located in the Stamford Room, has been moved to storage. City directories from 1879 to 1966 and high school yearbooks for limited years are available on microfilm.
