Event Details

Nationally syndicated humorist Jerry Zezima will discuss his latest book, The Good Humor Man: Tales of Life, Laughter and, for Dessert, Ice Cream. Here he writes about family foibles and the funny little things of everyday life.

Registration required.

Stamford native Jerry Zezima writes a humor column for Tribune News Service, which distributes it to 600 newspapers nationwide and abroad. If you have ever wondered why the newspaper industry is in trouble, it would be because of him.

Zezima is the author of seven books, Leave It to Boomer, The Empty Nest Chronicles, Grandfather Knows Best, Nini and Poppie’s Excellent Adventures, Every Day Is Saturday, One for the Ageless and The Good Humor Man.

As a chilling example of just how low journalistic standards have sunk, he has won many awards, including eight for humorous writing from the National Society of Newspaper Columnists.

Zezima has a strong social media presence, he has made many radio and television appearances, he has been a guest on national podcasts, he has done several YouTube videos, he is a popular public speaker, and he is writing a sitcom. If you think TV is bad now, wait until his show gets on the air.

Zezima lives on Long Island, New York, with his wife, Sue. They have two daughters, five grandchildren and many creditors.
