Ferguson Library Foundation
The Ferguson Library Foundation is a nonprofit organization which uses private contributions to help the Library enhance its collection and services, beyond what is available through public funding.
Since its incorporation in 1987, The Ferguson Library Foundation has carefully managed individual and corporate contributions to the Library, building a fund that has enriched the quality of library service in Stamford. Among its gifts, the Foundation has purchased computer equipment and software for the Library, funded furniture and equipment for the Harry Bennett Branch and sponsored a book buying program for the Weed Memorial & Hollander Branch.
The Harvey Fund of The Ferguson Library Foundation supports early childhood programming, including Every Child Ready to Read.
The Foundation provides funds to buy books for the whole Library system on an ongoing basis and helps support the Library's annual appeal.
